“Akai S950 Classic Sampler fully working, very clean and in great cosmetic condition.

I bought this around 4 years ago and like most of my gear, never got used enough. It has been stored in a smoke free, dehumidified studio. There are a few scratches to the top edge of the facia (see photos), but apart from a few light scratches to the top panel, this is the only defect of the whole unit. All buttons, knobs and the floppy disk drive feel smooth and work perfectly. It has the standard memory but can be expanded to 3 times the factory memory. “Having a big clear out of clutter and equipment someone left behind for us to sort when they moved abroad.

Been used, some marks and signs of use but no major damage.

Found a power supply which fits (don’t think it’s the original one), and can confirm the sampler turns on when plugged in, the display works though is a bit dark, and it seems to respond correctly when the various buttons are pressed. Unfortunately I wouldn’t know how to connect it up to other devices to test it further.

Power supply and instruction manual will be included, though the manual has been written on and is a bit battered. No other accessories/software/leads/etc. which might have come with it originally, as these weren’t found.” Click here to search for MPCs on eBay
