Custom Akai MPC 2000XL with Internal Card Reader

“This is an AKAI 2000XL with power cable, CF card reader upgrade, and two 1GB CF cards. Finding compatible CF cards for this unit is not easy so including these is a nice bonus. Please be aware samples added to the card via PC card reader have to be in 16 bit wav format or they will not be read. I have also applied a skin to this unit which can be removed. I haven’t had any issues using this machine, the screen and the buttons and pads are all responsive with only a couple of the buttons needing firmer presses. Those buttons being the up and down cursor keys and the main screen button. The scroll wheel is smooth but doesn’t seem to have the small click when turning, but that didn’t really bother me. I bought this a few months ago and made a few simple beats with it, but I have too many other pieces of gear that take up my time. Please see the pictures for the condition of the unit. Underneath the skin, the body is in pretty good condition with some slight discoloration and scuffs but nothing major.”
