“Akai S700 Midi Digital Sampler for spares/repairs. Was working fine but has stopped booting up properly and only shows lit up screen and disk drive LED (as in last picture). Since it was working previously I’m sure it is a quick fix but I do not have the time to do it. “This is a rare Akai S700 classic vintage 12 bit sampler including power lead and 60+ extremely rare Quick Disks. The product has been in protected storage for a while. The Quick Disk drive belt needs replacing to use the drive. This is a common problem with these units as the belt ages and snaps/perishes; however the unit can still sample directly for that old-school sound and is otherwise is in very good condition with one scratch/paint marks upon the top wall (see pictures).
There are roughly 62 disks including the rare Akai sample library, as well as some writable disks (see pictures)
