“Akai MPC 1000!

I’ve owned for about 10 years and it works great plus includes some extras:

Compact flash card
USB cable
Original manual (in pretty rough shape)
Power cable (of course)

I’ve had zero issues with this while I’ve owned it and I’m selling only because I upgraded to a MPC 2500 and don’t have a use for this one anymore.

If you want an affordable legacy MPC to learn with or don’t want worry about it being damaged while traveling/gigs, this will be perfect!

THE GOOD:

UPGRADED RAM TO 128MB
ORIGINAL PADS WORK GREAT
KNOBS AND SWITCHES WORK GREAT
REPLACED POWER SWITCH WITH A BETTER ONE (SEE PHOTO OF BACK)

THE BAD:

“AKAI’s ICONIC Sequencer MPC3000 MIDI Sampler Drum, *Rodger Linn Edition* W/ Travel Hard Case
This is the same sequencer used by major Hip Hop artists like Dr. Dre, J Dilla, Etc. Unit is in great surface condition on the top. It has been plugged in and turns on, and the screen appears to be ready to operate. Most of the buttons click, and none of them appear loose or misaligned. Neither do any of the dials/knobs. On the back, most of the hookup ports look good. Missing a couple of buttons whuch are easily replaced via Ebay, reverb or Akai. This unit has been sitting unused for a couple of years. It could use a professional inspection to make sure all of its functions are operating properly. It is being listed as untested because we can’t expertly test it. We can only verify the surface condition and that it turns on. The sequencer comes with a power cord.”

“Please see photos for condition. It is not pristine however not shockingly bad either. Comes WITH rack ears and screws to fasten. I included how I had it set up so never used them.

Fully functioning. Brand new bright screen, FULLY EXPANDED RAM and the latest OS installed on eeprom meaning no OS disk needs to be instead every time.

Sorry but no library. A mate has had that of me all ready.

“This AKAI MPC 60 is factory original, manufactured in the late 1980’s and never serviced. It is in excellent condition for its age. Please look at the photos as they form part of the description. There are some minor blemishes to the paintwork on the underside panel and also on the front disk drive panel but the control surface panel is in excellent near mint condition as are the side cheeks and rear panels.

Fitted with its original 3.5 inch floppy disk, the unit powers up, loads from disk and is working normally. The liquid crystal display is original and fully functional with the classic and sought after green background. It is not bright though entirely legible.

I have owned this unit from new and it has only ever seen studio use and is bundled with reprinted user and service manuals and five floppy disks with a selection of sounds.” Click here to visit listing on eBay
