“For sale is an Akai MPC 2000 in excellent condition. All functions are tested and working. I also had this machine serviced; the pots, pads, jog wheel were all cleaned and lubricated, and 32MB memory was installed. Screen is free of lines and pads are very responsive. In the listing, you can see a video of a beat made on this exact machine. “Akai MPC 2500 XLCD fat pads 80gb mostly working needs slight repair. Condition is Used.

Everything works EXCEPT all stereo outs, even assignable outs. Something broke in this long ago and now it is mono only. It is repairable, I just don’t care to get it repaired.
For example, the front headphone jack is left ear only. If you plug your headphones into the back left out you get both ears. You cannot plug your left speaker into the left out and right speaker into the right out; you will not get sound out of the right speaker. However if you plug in a mono cable to the left out and it splits to left and right speakers you will get sound out of both. ” Click here to search for MPCs on eBay

“Akai Mpc 2000XL. Condition is Used. Screen is a little faded, and the audio out is not working properly. It could be my lack of knowledge on how the outs get used. I ended up using the headphone jack out to make music. It works. I am providing a (headphone jack to 1/4″ jack in/out) I tested it on (10-14-19) and it is still working with this one minor flaw. Good purchase for parts or someone who can repair. “The power button is missing as seen in the pics. You have to use something to push it in. The Jog wheel on the front doesn’t work. It’s a basic MPC 2000XL and doesn’t have the Aux outs. “I’m really glad I found this instrument. I like the workflow and everything its capable of. There is one issue I’ve had once in a while with this MPC. It may make a static / white noise sound after you power it on or load a program. You just need to go into record mode and switch it from analog to digital and back and then the noise goes away.
