“Akai MPC 4000 sampler/sequencer in very good condition.
Has been untouched in climate-controlled storage for a couple years now. I have not tested the unit recently but it worked before going into storage and so there is no reason it should not work now.

Will come with wall adapter, user guide, user guide v1.40 addendum, and reference manual (plus extra USB keyboard, a couple MIDI cables, and a few 1/4″ audio cables as well.)

OS is version 1.71. Standard features including the all-important *built-in phono pre-amp which means you can sample audio in directly from vinyl without the need for a separate phono pre-amp*

DOES have FX board installed but I am not able to determine if this came standard or was an upgrade feature.

-Memory has been maxed-out to 512MB.
-Akai IB48P 8 Channel Analog Output Card installed for additional 8 analog outputs
-CD drive installed. Plextor Plexwriter 52/24/52A CD-RW.

I also never had time to learn or use it as well, time to pass it on.

Very clean condition, from a non-smoking household.

No issues with pads or screen that I can tell, I ran through the stock sounds.

“Yes it works as soon as you turn it on. First off, I’m including the POWER CORD and OPERATING SOFTWARE V. 1.72 (LATEST) FLOPPY DISK. I am the 2nd owner to this sampler and it is in the exact condition I purchased it in. No issues, works perfectly. ALL PADS and BUTTONS are responsive. Pads are near mint since they were slightly used. Data wheel and slider are in tact and work with no issues. LCD is new and shines bright. MPC is in near mint condition for it’s time.
