“Up for auction is an AKAI MPC 1000 black edition in excellent used condition. The unit has many upgrades that improve its performance.

The RAM has been upgraded from 16MB to 128MB. The OS has been upgraded to JJOS2XL and JJOS3 has been unlocked if you choose to install(these operating systems were purchased and the password will be provided). The PADS have been upgraded with new style SENSORS and new THICK black pads which perform beautifully (original thin grey pads included). A new 32GB CF card with samples and OS files is included for storage. The BUTTON and KNOB covers have been replaced for a monochrome black color scheme. I also replaced the screen protector which is brand new and crystal clear. The CURSOR BUTTONS are brand new to ensure navigation without issue. POWER CABLE included. Item will be packed in its ORIGINAL BOX.

Cosmetically the machine is in good condition with two small scratches. There are decals covering the AKAI logos and the small amount of wear (which are easily removable). I’m selling my beloved MPC 500 with 128 MB of RAM, 2 Gb CF Card full of Samples, Soft Case, & Power Supply. I’d keep it but am downsizing my studio. Your gain, my loss.

The MPC 500 is as shown. Super clean. Everything 100% working. I used it as for years with no issues. One of my all time favorite sampler/drum machines!

The 2 Gb CF Card is stocked with tons of drum samples. Many Drum Machines, E-Mu Samples, Drum Kits, etc.
