“You are bidding on a used AKAI Professional MPC 500 that’s in decent working condition. I am selling because I haven’t used it in a very long time and I don’t need it. The machine does have some scratches, and there’s a slight break over by the headphone jack that’s causing an issue with the sound that you could barely hear it. After holding it with your fingers for a bit it settles in and works fine — I have tested this and the machine does work. Might be a defect someone could get repaired, or use the other input/output jacks on the back instead. I am not sure if they work as I never tested but I assume they should be OK. “Unit was refurbished 1 year ago by mpcstuff.com. Meaning the motherboard and electronics were new. In addition I had them install the blue LEDs , a new blue led screen, 60 gig hard drive, it aso has the 128 memory. Custom knobs and data wheel. Dvd/cd burner straight to disk. Make a beat and burn it instantly. I’m including the 8 phone jack snake and 2 midi cords that are 15 ft long.
Has the latest Jjos. The A bank button is missing I just use BCD banks and that is the only issue with this unit. I have never experienced crashing or freezing.
