“This is the MPC 2000xl Studio Plus version. It’s been upgraded with a CF drive(been using 2gb cards) and more RAM(32mb). This machine has been treated with the best care and always plays just like new. The MPC also comes with a RoadRunner hard case, 1 CF card and power power cord. Tact switches are all working great but the the play/start button is a little loose and has been since I bought it. I’ve never had issues starting a sequence or song. I’m getting married and moving soon so I unfortunately have let go of some studio pieces. I’ve used this machine a lot and it works like a gem. Owners manual is too bulky to fit in the hard case but you can easily find it online (i.e. mpc-tutor) as a free download.

Extras you get with this machine versus the standard 2000xl.

“In perfect working order and excellent cosmetic condition. Only been used a handful of times. The only minor defect is a few small scratches to the metal casing (shown clearly in the photos).

As a hands-on production tool, particularly for hip hop and related genres, this is as good as it gets. Fast and intuitive to use, loads of useful features, and great sounding. It’s also equally well suited to live performance.
