“Its listed as OPEN BOX because I can find no signs of it ever having been used other than the box being opened. All original, unmodified and unmolested. Spotless inside and out. I popped the covers off to confirm it has the original stock pads and no changes were made. Not a smudge or fingerprint to be found on it. Looks like it might have come from a government seizure or something because it had a seal on the box flap, not sure. It still has the original purchase receipts. I fired it up and installed the current Akai OS and checked all the pads, knobs, and sliders for functionality, all good. I know this will need some upgrades to get the full potential out of it and it is certainly a worthy candidate for a full mod. This thing works flawlessly. To be completely transparent on this sale (know what you’re getting!) this is a list of the issues I’ve found:

• Minor scuffs from normal use

• Missing side covers

• Right record in is physically damaged, but works.

• Memory card sometimes needs a jiggle to get it to load up. No issues after loaded.

• Mode key is floating, but works fine
