“Everything works fine except there is a high pitched whine and display needs fixing. I am 100% positive these are easy fixes for anyone ok with tinkering with old gear. At one point many many years ago I attempted to fix and I wasn’t able to. You will see a newer eBay “easy diy” LED (LCD?) display in there. It has the black cable in holding. I think the original display is still there and this new one was one you just slide over the original…. I’m not sure but I recall that. The newer one can be removed. I’d say just start again…. I stopped working on music years ago and don’t have the time to fix this. I believe the high pitch whine is related to the display inverter but I’m not sure.
You will see the original inverter display cable in photo. I tucked it into right side of sampler where you will see it when you open it up.
I looked at the power supply and it looks good.
