“Selling an Mac 500 with fat pads and non-original psu. I’m listing it as parts simply because the internals are missing some screws and the front panel is missing some buttons and a record knob. Back panel was also painted blue.

I don’t want to make guarantees about the stability of this unit since I bought it disassembled and incomplete. But the unit does turn on and I was able to record and sequence samples with this (leaving that beat on here as a demo). While the bank c and d plastic buttons are missing, you can access those banks without those buttons from the main sequence screen using the jog wheel. Lot of 2 Akai S612 with 1 Akai MD280

“Rare Vintage 2X AKAI S612 Sampler and 1X MD280 Disk Drive VTG Music Gear AS-IS!.

S612 buttons appear to be responsive and it powers up but I have no way of testing.

The MD280 doesn’t appear to do anything but I don’t really know how to use it .

When I hit load button both show what I’m assuming to be E for error but maybe the led is out on bottom part of E

These have been boxed up in a garage for about 20 years.
