“Used, in good working condition. Has a good amount of marks/scratches from prior usage. The note variation lever is missing. There is also some dirt stuck on the machine as well, after the pictures were taken I took time to wipe it down but there’s still dirt stuck onto the machine. Tested and works. Comes as shown in the pictures provided.”

“A pre-owned Akai MPC 5000 being sold “For Parts or Not Working”.

This unit does power on, and I was able to play back demo songs and tweak synthesizer settings while listening to the audio from the headphone jack. Buttons, pads, knobs, sliders work, etc. However, as I’m unable to test every possible function of this device (I lack the extra equipment and skills), I’m listing it For Parts or Not Working.

” This is an Akai MPC 2000 (not XL) -with SMPTE and 8 OUTPUTS add ons as well as an external SCSI Zip drive and external USB Zip drive so that you can transfer sounds on a zip from your computer to the MPC. There’s a box of brand new zip disks one of which i loaded a sound on as a test.There are 3-4 start up floppy disks with the start up .exe incase you lose or damage one. There’s one floppy disk with some random samples on it so you can give it a try when you get it. It’s been years since i really used this but it worked great back then. I just loaded a few samples up and played around on it for a bit and everything seems to work as it’s supposed to but this sale is as is.
