New disk with latest operating system. Original box and manual.

Well looked after owned from new and has been boxed and stored indoors for 15 years plus. Backlight may need replacing but I think its fine.

“Calling all Junglists! Akai S3000XL for sale with 16mb RAM, SCSI fuse upgrade and white on black Tri-Axis LCD screen for crispy viewing at any angle. I have fully tested this unit, regretfully selling as I’m moving mostly to ITB due to space and time constraints.

Perfect for authentic 90s sounding amen breaks, house and big lush pads, the DACs on this unit are stellar and have featured on countless classic electronic records (and a couple of grunge ones).

This is the *MADE IN JAPAN* version with superior components more similar to the S3000 / MPC3000, as opposed to the later Made In China versions which are closer in sound to the MPC2000XL. The S3000XL is small and light at just 2RU and can be upgraded with the Filter and FX cards. This is the 240v version for Australia/UK/EU.

Also included are disks with 808, LinnDrum, SP1200 and S1000 kits (as backups). This unit is equipped with a self-resetting SCSI fuse, so no worrying when plugging in CD, SCSI2SD or Zip drives. The OS 2.0 chip and multi-out cards are also fitted.”
