“It comes with the 60’s kit sample floppy disk and original manual. The LCD screen was replaced a few years ago at Rogue Music in New York City, where they do a lot of work on these units, and it was given a clean bill of health. I can play the samples from the pads straight off the original disk, and I’m able to record samples into it and play them back. As far as stringing sequences together, I’ve never done all that… I’m not an electronic musician and I don’t know how to get into the MPC workflow. “Akai MPC 60 Original stock model with metal casing. This unit has some marks and slight rust( little specks on the front panel). Normal for its age I believe. A few buttons like sound 1 and right cursor needs to be pushed a bit harder but still works. Floppy drive should be replaced in my honest opinion. All pads, ins/outs, dials, screen, switches, faders, buttons, are working:). A good 7/10. These models are my personal favorite because of the tilt screen, arm rest pads and obviously because of the sought after 12 bit Lofi sound! Sad to let it go but it needs a new owner that will put it to good use:). Priced to sell and why pay more? Please have at least 10 feedback to purchase. Nice working condition signs of minor use, some scratches, all pads work fine, The backlight is weak and LCD becomes harder to read, but readable.
