” Up for bids is one of the most perfect MPC 60 MK1’s I’ve ever seen. It literally looks like it just left the factory in in the 80’s. It is essentially flawless except for a minor scratch in the upper right corner of the top of the screen (NOT on the screen itself, just the casing, see pics). Other than this it is as mint as I can describe. It has fully expanded memory, an upgraded full size LED screen from Jazz Cat, which isn’t the smaller version most people have, it is as big as the original screen, in bright blue. It also is upgraded to the newer Viamana OS. It doesn’t have the SCSI upgrade, but you can easily add that feature. It has all original manuals which will come with it. It works perfectly, and I am the 2nd owner, I bought it from the original owner (who used it to score the last 2 seasons of Miami Vice TV show soundtrack), who kept it in immaculate condition. “AKAI MPC 60 II – used condition. This is a classic drum machine/sampler, the unit is in working order, powers up, samples and sequences but with minor issues:

– has some dings (see pics)

– needs a good cleaning (been sitting!for a while)

– pads respond great (can provide video if needed) sequences great, no internal issues, can start making beats immediately

– volume button has come off (this is a very easy, simple fix @ mpcstuff)”

Software 2.12.

Tested and Works and sounds Great.

It comes with 8 outs, Channel Snake, and Power cord.

It has some minor marks and scratches ( see pics) . The knobs and buttons have some wear as well.

The screen is very clear and looks sharp.

“From a local production company (one owner). Studio-use only. This unit’s RAM has been maxed out. It has version 3.10e software and SCSI upgrades, which allows it to be hooked up to an external hard drive. This unit was last used 5 years ago with no issues. It was powered up in-store; no further tests were done. It is cosmetically in great condition for its age. Signs of normal wear include, but may not be limited to, discoloration, scuffs/scratches, a small ding (see rear left corner), and a few small chipped paint.
