MPC 60

“12 Bit Vintage Akai MPC 60 ii Sampler Workstation with Internal USB Drive
I added the Gotek USB drive to the unit. You can find videos on YouTube about it.
Here is how to use it…..
Find a USB drive that is less 1GB or less and format it on a computer as FAT16 disk.
Then create folders named “000,001 etc up to 999
In each folder you can copy up to 720K bytes (the same size as the DSDD Floppy).
Choose the folder first. For example lets say I have drums in folder “155” I would press
both buttons on the Gotek drive simultaneously to choose the 1 in the hundreds digit
the the first button five times for the tens digit “5” the the second button five times for the
ones digit “5”.

SCSI . I am including the SCSI boot disk you would plug in a USB floppy and start up with
this disk if for some reason you needed to access a SCSI drive but trust me USB is faster.” Click here to search for MPCs on eBay
