“This is a USED AKAI MPC 500. This item works like new and is a great introductory step to electronic/hiphop production.

ONLY FLAWS:

– Line/Mic input button cover is missing (blue button in photos) but button still works just fine)

– DC adapter is missing (they’re cheap and i threw in a USB chord for your troubles)”

Comes with both original owners manuals for easy start up for a newby or pro. Primarily used with Sonar, but works well with any DAW. Great for the traveling musician. Sample memory allows for full 24 minute Recording in mono mode (12 min in stereo). Comes with 4GB storage card. “This Music Production Drum Machine is in Very Good cosmetic condition. The housing is free of damage but does have a couple light scuffs and scratches mostly located on the corners which can be common from prior use and ownership. The display screen has a couple fine scratches however, these scratches cannot be seen while in use. The pads, knobs, faders buttons and dials are all moving smoothly and properly as intended. Great little sampler, capable of making full tracks. Also good for sequencing external gear, synths, other samplers, etc.

It’s the most portable off the MPCs, both because of the physical size as well as the fact it can be powered with batteries. Nice for making stuff on the go!
