” Turns on just fine and even works a Little bit… But sometimes the pads don’t trigger correctly… For instance, the pads will trigger just fine when you first turn it on and load the samples, but after a little bit the pad triggering function goes out of wack and you can’t trigger multiple pads at the same time… Some of the pads will cut out, or you’ll hear the sample in Only the Right or Left ear of the headphones… So you just have to turn it off and turn it back on again and it’s fine… So it still Sortof works technically… ”

“I am currently selling an MPC 500 I have used it and out a total of maybe two hours of work on it and I am selling it because I no longer have use for it. Everything is in perfect condition and works I just wish I had more time for it. It is battery operated, portable, very very good condition nothing wrong with it no scratches. There is a spot for a memory card slot also but I do not have a memory card which is pretty cheap if you order online.

There is no power plug that comes with it because it is battery operated and portable that takes six double AA batteries.”

“Was given this by a friend with the intention that I’d take it in to have it looked at. Got too busy. Could simply need new batteries, or be totally inoperable. If you’re handy with electronics, or if you have someone who can work on it, this might be a good find.
