“Akai MPC500 with 128mb ram installed, with orange fat pads, cf card, usb cable and power supply. This mpc is in excellent condition with three minor flaws. In the last three pictures you can see on the front right panel the screw connecting to the plastic internally has been broken so you cannot use a screw there but is perfectly fine without. Also there is a small crack in the back left panel in the plastic again this does not effect the use, functionality or tightness of the case itself. The front two feet are aftermarket parts and I superglued the feet on that’s why there is white around them. Lastly there is the smallest amount of corrosion on one coil in the battery unit, this mpc runs fine on battery’s and I haven’t had any issues with it not. This mpc is in overall in excellent condition and has been fully cleaned and restored inside and out. This mpc is a tank and is amazing for making beats on the go it’s a great mpc for beginners, casual play,or experienced beatmakers.” Click here to search for MPCs on eBay

“What I have for sale is the last of the old school samplers, the mpc 500. Unit is in GREAT overall condition with an unfortunate defect that only affects the Machine cosmetically. The power button is completely broken off, again this does not affect the functionality of the machine, I have been using a pen/marker as workaround to power the unit. I do have the replacement power button but I do not feel confident enough in my soldering skills to perform the repair myself. I was quoted 30 dollars for this repair, again it’s completely optional, I will include the replacement button in the sale. Sale also includes ac adapter and printed manual.”

Condition is used, no box or power supply included. Works with a normal 12V power supply. Bought from ebay originally and just haven’t had time to get to grips with it. In working order – originally thought the “do it” button was not working (it’s pretty important) but it was simply dusty.
