Keygroup Programs allow you to play samples across the keyboard, much like having a built in sound module. Sample a sound, save as a keygroup, edit it, layer it, whatever you want to do and you’re ready. There is cross fade looping for smooth continuous playback of a sample. Mpc 4000 samples up to 96Khz/24 Bit and the system clock can be set at 96Khz for playback. No other Mpc has the Mpc 4000 features, not even the Mpc X, which is a Mpc 4000 with the bigger touch screen. Hello everyone. As you can see, I am selling my Akai MPC 4000 Studio A. It has everything Installed you see on the top of this page. It is in great body shape with minor cosmetic scratches. CD Drive opens and close automatically when eject button is pressed, you have to hold the CD tray to load a disk. CD Drive works just fine and reads and burns audio discs with no problem. Every button and knob works as it should on this unit. I have clean it, wipe it down Everyday since I have had it, to protect against dust and finger stains.
