This is the Studio “D” version. It adds the ADAT in and out digital option as well as all upgrades.
I had the upgraded thicker pads installed
I put in a larger hard drive some time back.
Haven’t opened it recently, and don’t remember the hard drive size. I believe, at the time, I put in a 160gb one.
Unit in fantastic condition with a few minor scratches.

Everything else functions as it should with no issues.

“Unit is in very good condition. There’s a tiny scratch that is barely noticeable by the ‘mode’ button that you can see in the photos. I bought this from someone who said they’d barely used it. I have also barely used it. The pads seem to be quite tough and need a good bit of pressure to get to full volume when in pressure-sensitive mode, but I’ve been told this is probably because it’s barely been used and will become more sensitive the more the pads are used. “You are bidding on a used Akai Professional MPC4000. It is fully loaded with the optional 8 output, ADAT in/out, digital in/out, and wordclock already installed. The OS is version 1.71 which is the latest and most up to date version. I am not the original owner. I purchased from eBay several years ago to load up old projects that I made from another MPC 4000. I had no problems loading up projects and then recording to my computer. There are relatively minor signs of wear, see pics. Unfortunately there are some minor issues that the previous owner failed to disclose that I discovered much later. Pads 4 and 16 are non responsive, most likely problems with the sensor(s). “Hi, up for bid is a LOADED! MPC 4000 in excellent condition! This MPC has seen very little use. It sat boxed up in a climate controlled storage for 15 years. This belonged to my cousin who passed away not long after it was purchased new. It was given to me about 2 years ago and I have used it VERY lightly. All knobs and buttons work perfectly (in fact they still have a slightly stiff “new” feel to them). No lines in the screen as is common with many of these older units. This unit is as close to new as you’re likely ever going to find. I’ve also heard these older white 4000’s are built better than the blue version which was manufactured under Numark with cheaper internal parts once they bought Akai.

There is no internal harddrive, but I am including a 32GB micro USB that plugs directly into the front of the unit. I actually prefer this to an internal harddrive because you can take the usb out, easily plug it into a computer add samples and go right back in the MPC. There is also hundreds of dollars worth of high quality wave alchemy drum samples, analog synths (which can be looped and keygrouped), vinyl drums, hundreds of breaks and loops pre chopped, single cycle waves, etc.etc. Tons of content to keep you busy.

There is a tiny scratch on the back near the midi port (pic#9) and some white on the side panel (pic#6) (which may rub off with a cleaning product). Everything else is pretty much MINT! Qlink 1 knob isn’t as stiff and new feeling as everything else, but fully functions. This is all just me being EXTRA picky and letting you know. This MPC is in excellent condition and would make a great studio centerpiece. ”
