Custom AKAI MPC4000 Drum Machine Sampler With 512MB of Memory. Has an Internal hard drive and SCSI drive. The MPC 4000 has the latest version 1.71. Also included is a Quiklock roll around stand (You will have to put it back together, no instructions included)

This MPC 4000 has all the bells and whistles. This is a vintage item, so it is very hard to find. It has a custom installed blue screen ( read more about the screen here https://www.ebay.com/itm/254688563498?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649 ).

This MPC 4000 also has the Akai IB-4ADT Adat Expansion Board. Along with the custom Adat + Analog 8x outputs IB-48P compatible card ( Read here https://www.ebay.com/itm/174422948353?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649 ).

It also has the Akai IB-4D S/PDIF digital in/out with word clock card.

I am also including a Dell Latitude 2120 touch screen laptop with the Akai Ak.SYS software installed. I will also include a bunch of cables. Digital, analog cables, usb, scsi drive with a few disk and midi cables. I hate to let it go, but it just sits in my studio and gets no use. I will try to disassemble the roll around cart and include it in the auction. As long as I can pack and ship it safely. I do not have any manuals but I am sure you can find plenty online. This will be shipped in two boxes due the stand. So all sales will be final. No returns because this is a delicate item to ship. So there will be no shipping back and forth. Just back from a recent full service and power supply repair.

FX board, 8 output, and ADAT interface board installed. 512mb memory (max)

The 4000 has a few marks here and there, mainly on the side arms and to the top left of the front panel which I have tried to capture in the photos. very good condition overall but if you are looking for one in mint condition this will not be the one.

The screen has no issues with no lines and the pads are in excellent shape.”

“This has been my baby for the past 6 years plus. I have dropped a lot of coin on this and just don’t turn it on much anymore. So I thought I would see what I could get for it if the right person wanted it.

It has all the options except for the ADAT card.

Has a new LED screen in it (about 1 year old)

If you’re looking at this, I assume that you’ve done your research and have decided that you can integrate this into your set-up.

“This has to be the best spec’d MPC 4000 available – Fully maxed out with ALL factory optional upgrades, including IB-48P 8 analogue output board, IB-4ADT Adat Interface Board, EB4JS Multi Effects Board and the very rare IB-4D Spdif interface board.

Also has Maximum 512MB Ram installed and a removeable 120GB SSD drive in a quick-swap front-mounted caddy (the drive is loaded with sample libraries). And the internal fan has been upgraded to a silent Noctua type.

The MPC is in very good clean used condition, the screen is excellent, bright and clear with no lines. It has the latest (final) OS installed. Pads are nice and responsive.

Also included is the original user manual and printed, bound copies of the final user manual and the service manual (not shown), also a UK power cable.

I don’t think you will find a better MPC4000 out there right now. It is also the best of the classic style MPC’s – built like a tank, can sample at 24-bit (or 16-bit) and has the most accurate timing of any MPC, with extremely tight midi clock and sample playback.”
