The unit has sat in a smoke free room for the past 20 years as a display with no use. Cosmetically, it’s in near mint condition with the main blemish being the plastic sides. The metal panel, pads, buttons and knobs are nearly flawless. Functionally, everything works as new and sounds great. You may want to replace the backlight of the display but is not necessary. Recently replaced all tact switches and drum pads so the feedback feel you get when crafting beats is as though this unit just rolled off the Akai factory floor in Japan! My MPC comes with SCSI2SD v5.1 – works like a charm; SCSI port works too. Comes with 32MB installed and Vailixi OS version 3.501 (see photo). All buttons, slider & knobs work properly and tilt screen is new & bright. Midi ports & I/O works. There are a few tiny-light scratches under the transport buttons worth mentioning (see photo). Externals – As you can see main panel worn in decent but actually isn’t distracting (wear isn’t from me). Kept in a smoke free studio. The plastic left panel was pulled from another white 3k and then painted. I traded for this unit so it wasn’t all put together when I got it. Kanamit got me right with this unit. “You are looking at a Forat Custom Akai MPC 3000LE. It has been my trusty partner for many years but now it’s time to give someone else shot.

Works great. Screen is a little dim but visible. Pictures on request of course. Basically if you spray WD40 on any sticky tact switches this machine has 0 issues. And I lost the screws that keep the lid closed in a move. But I like it like that in case I ever need to get under the hood easily.

If no one buys this by Sunday Oct 8, 2023, I will spray the WD40 and get the screws and this thing goes on sale for $4444++

It might even comes off the market if it doesn’t sell by Sunday because I’d honestly rather not even sell it. This machine is a beloved artifact, the keystone in an authentic pure hip hop temple.
