“Up for bid is the Akai MPC 3000 OS Version 3.11 Roger Linn. Fully tested and works great! All pads engages smoothly and so are all the controls. Internal battery measures at 3.2 Volts. Floppy drive works. Just minor marks/scratches. Backlight is good, not the brightest but readable on a dim room, check few pix). Overall it is in very good cosmetic shape. “Akai MPC 3000 LE MINT CONDITION!
I bought it because this was James Dewitt Yancey aka J Dilla’s weapon of choice.
However I have given up the ghost with production.
It even has a Valaxi chip mod installed which I had custom made from Mansell Labs. The original is still in tact also.
The Moded chip allows for PC integration in some fashion )in essence bringing some IO capabilities to and from your PC.)
