“I love this machine. I also have an MPC 2000XL which I talked myself into keeping instead of this. As I fired this beauty up today, I knew I’d have regrets listing it, but here we go. I have to choose one, and I learned to make beats on the 2000XL, so nostalgia is going to win.

I am the second owner of this 2500. I upgraded the pads, customized the buttons and knobs, plus added a 160gb hard drive and purchased JJOS-XL 3.53. It has 128mb RAM plus a CF reader (eject button is missing, but a card is inside). This MPC works great and is a stable and reliable workhorse. No screen issues. I’m firm on price, as I wouldn’t be bummed to keep it. Cosmetically, has a few minor scratches as shown in pics.
