This is an auction for an MPC 2500 in need of a little TLC. Ideal machine if you are looking for a little project.

Basically everything works enough to actually use but has a few buttons that don’t work. The q after buttons 1 and 2 don’t work and the erase and note repeat don’t seem to work either. I’ve been told that it should be an easy repair but I have no idea. The main volume seems a slight crackly as well.

Comes with 128mb memory expansion

As I said ideal for someone who wants a project.

All the buttons on the right hand of the unit work including jog wheel , F1 buttons all work and pads work really really well.

Has a few scratches on the front of the unit.

“Hello, this listing is for a refurbished Akai MPC 2500 by MPCstuff. I ordered this MPC straight from MPCstuff.com close to 2 years ago. Since then I’ve only used it a handful of times. The protective film on the screen is still there. I really thought I would create music but I learned I’m more of a collector/listener. Time to let go of this unit so someone else can make use of it. It’s got a CD drive, 128mb of memory, big XL screen, thick yellow pads, JJ128OS V2.14. Comes with a 2gb flash card with a lot of sample folders I put on there. Everything is in working condition, all buttons, inputs, outputs function like they should. “AKAI MPC 2500 – 128Mb – jjos – boxed with manual plus extras!.

Hasn’t been used for a while but starts up fin, all buttons and encoders work (though some need pressing harder than others).

It’s good as it is or ripe for pimping up and restoring to new (if not better – google mpcstuff)

Comes with power lead, manual, original boxes and some dvd tutorials and samples to get you going.
