Pads, buttons, etc. works great for a machine of this vintage. “Excellent condition MPC 2500. It comes with the following:

1. JJOS 3.55 (latest fully paid version)

2. 128 MB RAM

3. 60GB Hard Drive which has an SD card. You can take it out and replace it with a larger or smaller SD. Noiseless.

4. 30GB CF card

” Akai MPC 2500 for sale. Very good condition. Comes with JJ OS XL 3.45, 20 GB internal hard drive and 128GB ram installed.

Also comes with a 4GB memory card and the original Akai MPC Sound Library card (see picture) as well as original manuals and a spare set of pads.

Only small issue is that sometimes the screen scrambles on start up but turning the unit off and again rectifies this (this is a common issue when the unit gets hot)
