This thing is an incredible tool for so many different genres – i’ve used it for making beats, techno, experimental soundscapes and everything in between.

Unlike most 2500’s on Ebay this one comes loaded with an 80GB harddrive, with a ton of drum samples already saved (can remove if you wish though) so you can basically plug and play. The harddrive is SUPER helpful because it means you don’t have to worry about buying/storing/loosing little flash cards and CDs etc.”

It has had both upgrades fitted, the 128 internal RAM and the CD Rewritable DVD ROM drive.
All pads, buttons, sliders and dials work fine.
The screen is bright and can be angled at a point that is best for you.
JJOS 3.13 operating system is installed.
The front has a paint correction (see photos).
Comes with the two manuals, power lead, cable for recording samples (eg. from a telephone) and 4GB card.
Used in a non smoking studio.

“One of the cleanest MPC2500s you’ll find and this one is maxed out. Pretty much showroom condition, little used, plastic still on the LCD, no sloppy ‘custom paint job’, no dodgy buttons or faults. You won’t see a cleaner example.

The last of the great old skool MPCs. Killer sound. Punchy as hell.

“Akai Professional MPC 2500 2007 Fully Loaded with DVD drive 80Gig hard drive comes with 4 gig Sansdisc memory card and sound library.. all manuals included.. I’m the second owner of this machine. The akai is super studio clean! Comes outta of my personal home smoke free pet free studio environment. The only reason I’m selling is I upgraded to the X.

“This MPC 2500 is in good condition and working well. It has two issues to note:

The Q1 slider is not working properly. I am including the replacement part from MPC Stuff. This will need to be installed to get the sliders working again.

The DVD Drive works but is difficult to open and close.

Everything else works well. Controls have great feel and respond accurately. Lights and screen are fully functional. Ports and jacks in great shape and connect without issue. Sound is strong and clear from all inputs and outputs. Some scratches here and there but overall in very good, solid condition. ”

“Tested, working condition, issues are cosmetic, to the pads, some scratches to the paint work (the biggest one is under pad No1, please see the photos), 128MB RAM, Fx card, 8 outs card, DVD-rom, 2GB memory card, used in home studio, mostly as a midi controller, Q-Links, DVD never used, this unit still got original protective foil on the screen, power cord, manual, original box included.
