“Akai MPC 2500 Limited Edition #448 araabmuzik owned this unit so it’s a piece of history. Everything works on this unit the only things that are a concern are that the jog wheel doesn’t spin as fast as it should but still works. Personally I think it’s because of the casing not being properly secured in place. I have opened the unit and the jog wheel is working just fine but upon placing the face plate back on it hinders the jog wheel. There are one or two buttons that get stuck from time to time but nothing major. This unit has 80gb in hard drive space , fully maxed ram. Has new, upgraded right side PCB board (Red Version 2) installed.

Includes new, upgraded Jog wheel: I believe it needs jog wheel adapter, but am unsure. It operates perfectly and super smooth, but has a wiggle to it.

Left side Q-link PCD board has not been tested, and the Q3 knob is bent, but unsure if it is affected.

MPC is fully functional and has made many a song in it’s day.

“Selling my custom mpc 2500 from my pet free smoke free studio. Owned for about 8 years. Has 128 mb max memory, JJOS 3.13, black pads, painted gloss black sparkle buttons, 1 gb cf card, Cd drive, skin from mpc stuff, left board with sliders has purple leds.
