“Akai MPC 2500 Used, in workable condition but could use a little love and improvement.

Ram upgraded to 128mb, JJOS 3.13 (free version) installed, 8gb CF card included.

The unit is in near perfect working order. However some of the buttons such as ‘Mode,’ ‘Shift,’ ‘F-Keys,’ the D-Pad, and some others do not activate easily, and may require some slight pressure or wiggling to get the button to activate. Sometimes they double activate, they may activate and deactivate in one push, etc. It is not limited to those buttons. None of the pads are affected, and it seems isolated to some of the more-used buttons on the main pcb and the F-Key pcb.

There are a few scratches here and there, and a small piece of plastic that cracked off from the right side panel. I show the most significant scratches and the crack in the pictures.”

“This Music Production Drum Machine is in Very Good cosmetic condition. The housing is free of damage but does have a couple light scuffs and scratches mostly located on the corners which can be common from prior use and ownership. The display screen has a couple fine scratches however, these scratches cannot be seen while in use. The pads, knobs, faders buttons and dials are all moving smoothly and properly as intended. Please take a moment to look at the pictures and get a better idea of what you are bidding on. This unit has scuffs and scratches from use. The pad bank A & B buttons are both unresponsive. It feels like the clicking mechanism under the buttons is worn out. There is damage to the corner of the unit. It does not put out sound.
