The price is to reflect, the mods, JJOS license and that it is highly unlikely it will need any further servicing for at least a few years.
There’s around 800 in parts and labour in the last 12 months…
* Large Screen – Blue
* 128 MB RAM
* All blue LEDs
* Blue thick fat pads
* Blacked out buttons (most replaced with actual black except erase key and cursor keys)
” 120GB internal solid state drive (SD card mod)
* JJOS 128xl (the board is also licensed for JJOSXL if you want to put it back to small screen)
* Bought as refurbished and modded from 16Squarez in 2013
* Small tact switches replaced in 2017
* Brand new large tact switches
* Has brand new rotary encoder (a bit less clicky)
* Brand new sensor pad
* Cosmetic wear and tear and a very slight crack in one cheek end.

“Selling my MPC as it is no-longer used (moved to software based MPC 2.0).
MPC is in Excellent condition, a few cosmetic marks on the machine but does not affect the performance, MPC has been upgraded to 120 GB HDD but shows up on the computer as just under 100GB (see pictures).
Samples & Sounds below have been also added to the HDD (these are in MP3 format & need to be converted via a pc/laptop/mac & converted to WAV & then copied back to HDD Drive to be used). These have been added under the “SOUNDS” Folder on the 120Gb HDD. ” Click here to visit listing on eBay

For sale is a monster of an Mpc. This is the Akai Mpc 2500 Limited Edition 162/500, with JJOS, Large LCD Screen, 128Gb internal hard drive, memory expansion card for a total of 192MB, and an internal CD drive. The unit has a few blemishes. See photos. However, it functions as expected. Buttons and pads feel great. The unit sounds amazing. I left a few drum kits on the internal hard drive to get started. The screen is bright with no lines or cracks. The unit can connect to a Mac or PC via the USB function. Easily drag and drop samples to the internal hard drive or installed CF card. The brightness and contrast can be adjusted easily for your comfort. I will include a printed manual for JJOS. This operating system enhances the functions of this Mpc. Most people love how much better it is to chop samples, vs the original operating system by Akai.
