“This is an used unit and being almost 20 years old (the Akai MPC2000XL was released in 1999!) you can expect some signs of wear like small scratches/dents/paint chips but all that is just cosmetic and it is expected in a unit this old.

“Condition is used. But everything works great. All pads and buttons work like new, All functions, outputs/inputs, and operations work great. LCD Screen is bright and looks great. As far appearance I can only find 1 real mark which is a small blemish on the front near the drum pads (SEE PHOTOS) and a few small dings here and there, It is a 20 yr old machine and will have some minor dings and dents here and there but not bad for this rare gem, PLEASE carefully check to photos before purchasing. Also- when the unit is powered off I noticed that the LCD window has a small smudge on it but can only see it when unit is off (SEE LAST PHOTOS).
