MPC 2000XL

“Please read this IN FULL because I do not want to get a message saying I didn’t know this was gonna be the case! This MPC 2000XL is in good shape. You can tell it was used for years but taken great care of. HOWEVER, the following buttons do not work: 0, 1, 2, 3, 9, F1, F4, F5, F6, Open Window. You can open it up and solder it pretty easily, it is fixable. I tried this, but I got cold feet when I opened it up and just decided I didn’t want to or trust myself (only solder attempts were a few years ago) to do that myself. Instead I just got a different sampler and decided to sell this one. IF you are experienced with fixing MPC’s, this is a perfect steal for you. You can also ship this to many different electronic repair shops, I have contacted one that said they could fix this no problem. I WILL INCLUDE NEW TACT SWITCHES FOR THOSE WHO WANT TO FIX IT AT HOME. I will also include a whole brand new button set that you can put on, and a new slider.”

” Akai MPC 2000XL in fair condition. The main issue with this unit is the LCD screen, which as you can see in the picture has glitchy lines on it. You can still see what you need to if you’re used to these units, but I’m assuming I’ll most likely sell this to someone who has the know-how to swap out the screen, and I’ve priced this accordingly.

Otherwise it has some moderate wear consistent with age, including a missing cap on the power button (which you can still press just fine). But everything else works.”
