The screen fades slightly when turned on initially but smooths out after a couple of minutes. (Video was taken minutes after I turned it on and had not been started up in months) – See second screen pic.
Note variation slider not working.
2 pads do not work.
Missing button caps – Main rotation wheel and on/off switch. Both work fine regardless.
No 8 outs installed.

“Used & fully functional MPC 2000XL. Has maxed out 32MB Ram, installed CF Drive & 1 GB Card loaded with drum samples & already programmed across the pads & edited. Screen looks great, everything works just like it should. The note variation slider works,but it seems to be drifting. It’s hard to use it to dial in an exact spot when editing wave forms, so I just use shift + arrows and the jog wheel. The slider does work though. “Sadly most of time it spend in wardrobe as quickly after checking 2000XL I bought MPC 60 which I love till this day.

As you can see on photos, it’s in mint condition as haven’t had much use, however it have max of 32mb sampling memory and CF card reader upgrade on which I made exactly 6 beats.

Everything working like new, only buttons became bit yellow due to age but in my opinion it gives nice character like on my MPC 60. Buttons can be changed pretty cheap for black ones if that’s a problem.

It comes with power cord, 2gb CF card and official manual book.

“- Good cosmetic shapes, but a few nicks and scratches, as shown in the photos, and YouTube video.
– Headphone jack is missing, but could probably be added back in.
Case appears to show evidence of a drop by the headphone jack.
– Floppy Disk aesthetic front-panel is loose because of broken clips, but floppy drive is fully functional.
All of this is shown in the video.
– Will throw in 40 brand-new 3.5-inch floppy disks. Floppy disk case is cracked, but disks are new.
