“Akai MPC2000XL MCD that has been fully expanded and customized with parts from MPC Stuff. The expansions include fully upgraded RAM, the 8-output expander and the internal effects processor board as well as even the SMPTE time sync chip.

It features MPC Stuff Fat Pads with Corx and full blacked out buttons, knobs and a brushed metal faceplate. OS 1.2 installed .

“This Akai MPC2000XL Midi Production Center was used for many years and lines in the screen burnt out to the point where the screen is no longer usable. This is being sold as-is, but the only thing I know is wrong with it is the screen. I have been able to test the following as working:
– All pads tested and working
– All indicator lights tested and working
– Data knob, cursor buttons, function buttons, number buttons, bank buttons, stop and play buttons all tested and working
– The software works – sequencer plays, can navigate to different screens, etc
– Midi out works and the pads can trigger sounds on another midi device

This is a powerhouse of a sampler and sequencer and can be further expanded with additional audio outputs and modern storage solutions.
