“This MPC is in relatively good condition. All the plug-ins on the back of the console as well as all the buttons and knobs are still fully functional. However, the top-left 3 pads (Pads A13, A14 and A15) have lost a little sensitivity and just need to be pushed harder for the full volume of sound to be produced. The LCD screen still works and is still legible, but the screen has minor visual splits (see photos for more detail). Again, the LCD screen can still be seen and read perfectly fine. I am also including the AC power adapter and the original Akai instruction manual for the 2000XL. “I have another sampler only reason I’m selling also need the money.A real good machine no lines in screen. The reason I’m selling is because the right stereo out put stopped working correctly on 3/19/17.Everything else works fine no issues.As you can see the power cord is included. I’m also giving away free snake cord for the 8 outs for drum eq. Free Hillprop 97 DVD boombap drum tutorial.Also a compact flash card. The flash drive is installed not mounted to the machine. ” For sale is my AKAI MPC2000 XL Studio Plus Sampler – the iconic piece of equipment that J Dilla used for his seminal productions. I’ve had this machine for very many years and it has never let me down. Cosmetically is has got scuffs and scratches here and there (see pictures) but the machine is in good working order!

I have taken the floppy disk drive out and only ever used the internal memory of 32GB (see picture) but you can also connect the MPC to a computer via the SCISI to USB adapter that comes with the unit. Also included is a 4GB hard drive (which I have never used myself) and the power lead.

The MPC2000 XL Studio Plus model, which comes with all the expansion boards found in the Studio Sampler version as well as the EB16 SampleVerb Multi-Effects Processor Board option built-in.

It is a fragile machine so collection would be preferred, but I can ship if requested”
