“Read entire description before purchasing…………….Rare Akai MPC 2000XL SE2 Special Edition up grabs in nice condition sans for needing new data slider which is very loose and not working. Has a 250MB zip drive with sounds and 32MB of ram installed. As you can see from the pics it’s in nice condition other than one side that has some engraving art work….. I would cover it with a cool sticker. I have gone through the machine and the data slider is the only issue I have been able to find other than a tiny single line in the display that comes and goes. “It is a famous machine grooving machine AKAI MPC 2000XL SE 3 which integrated the sampler and the sequencer. It is a cool design like a mirror with limited edition of limited 150 units. Optional 32 MB memory, 8 paralleled expansion board installed.

“Very clean Akai MPC 2000xl. This machine has been stored in a case for the past several years. I don’t see myself having the time to make music again anytime soon, so it’s time to let it go to someone who will use it. I loaded some samples and tested the pads and buttons, and the F5 button isn’t as responsive as it should be and will need replaced. But everything else works as it should. Case has a few minor scuffs as expected for an MPC this old, but overall it’s in great condition.

” I’ve had this MPC for almost 5 years, and got it from the original owner. It’s a classic piece of hip-hop production equipment. Most well known for its swing, made popular by producers like J Dilla, Q-tip, Pete Rock, and DJ Premier. The dial wheel is a little crooked from the previous owner, but doesn’t effect functionality at all. The listing includes the MPC, Power Cord, and five CF Cards.
