“32mb RAM, 8 outs, *hotswappable* MCD CF/SD drive, SMPTE chip installed. Screen is good with no lines present. Excellent cosmetic condition (couple of minor marks). Full working order, altho the jog wheel is starting to occasionally get a little jumpy so may need replacing soon-ish….but not yet…or maybe just some Deoxit? It’s a £10 part, either way. Serviced by Jazzcat a coupla years ago. Up-graded 32mb of ram, and flash drive installed.
Reasonable cosmetic condition on the main surfaces but the front panel and bottom have a few scratches and marking (see photos).
The LED for the 16 levels button has gone and doesnt light up, but the button works fine.
The plastic top for the bank C button LED has gone -but the led still works (see photos).
Buttons all work but very very occassionaly will have to be pressed a bit harder to work. The flash drive has been fitted by me- and there is a slight gap showing (the bracket could easily be refitted to sort this- I just haven’t got around to drilling new holes in it as it doesn’t bother me). “For sale is a AKAI MPC 2000XL with Zip Drive. It’s Max out w/ 32 meg memory. There is NO 8 OUTS. The LCD screen is clean, no dead pixels or horizontal line. Great working conditions with no issues. It is used and preowned so there are some minor cometic defects like scuffs and scratches on it as you can see in the pics but overall it’s in great conditions compare to some that are out there. All 16 pads works and function as it should. Included are 16 ZIP Disk. The zip drives works fine but not all Zip disk have been tested. Some are blanks and theres a few containing sounds & samples. As you can see in the pic included is a protective carry bag and power cable.

The only thing is on the back theres no power button but you can easily still turn it off and on w/ the tip of your finger. Also the Note Variation slider appear to be loose im not sure if that works or not but from messing around w/ the mpc, I dont find that useful and you probably dont either. Item is functional but has issues such as: Missing cap on power button, function buttons work but need to be replaced, and one of the outputs has a short.
