” Akai MPC 2000XL works great! I’ve had this item for about 5 years and have never had any problems. All functions work correctly, including like new LED screen. Some minor cosmetic wear. Sticker traces on side from previous owner, and pad wear. PLEASE see photos.

“Selling my Akai MPC 2000xl. Originally came with a floppy drive and no effects, I installed the CF drive and the EB16 effects in the unit myself. Some wear/tear on the machine itself, the screen is a bit faded but other than that this machine works just fine!!! A great piece of equipment that sadly does not fit my current studio setup. “I have used this occasionally over the past 6 years in studio, always works well. It’s in good physical condition, as you can see in the pictures. It is a classic, not brand new, so there are the usual signs of handling, etc.

The 4GB compact flash card included has some Akai sounds & other fun stuff for a quick start, or to re-program and store your own samples. This sample collection isn’t awesome or complete, but something to play with initially.
