“This MPC is working but needs fixing in places:

• Some of the tact switches need replacing but still work

• Two buttons missing

• The top four pads are not sensing

• Note Variation slider is jumping

Comes with Zip drive although cannot test because I don’t have any Zip disks.

Otherwise a cosmetically clean machine.

“Selling my Akai MPC 2000 XL, it has been the main valuable piece in my homework studio for years. Even after purchasing newer models which came with a learning curve, it was my go to. There is some external blemishes as shown in the photo which doesn’t effect the performance at all. This unit will come with an internal zip drive a zip disc with preloaded sounds and also a power cord, the unit has 32 MB of RAM and has room for an expansion.
