Selling my beloved MPC 2000 XL due to upgrade.

I have used this frequently for the last year and a half and it has been performing flawlessly, both in its sampling and sequencing capabilities

The MPC has the increased RAM (32MB), 8 additional outputs and compact flash reader. i can also provide a compact flash usb dock to load sounds onto the card.

There are a few minor scratch marks and streaks on the casing sides where the paint has peeled off, as seen in the pictures. The only technical issue is that the note variation slider doesn’t work but I have had no need for it in the last few years as samples can be tuned in the menus as well. You can find easy fixes for this online which usually just involve opening the unit and cleaning the fader.”

“Used, and fully functional MPC 2000XL. Comes with an internal Zip 250 Drive and 32MB Max Ram. The unit shows a lot of wear and tear, and the color is faded. Screen is nice and clear though, no lines, looks good. All knobs, pads, buttons, inputs / outputs do work, just a couple minor issues. The tap tempo and the play button are both broke. They function and work still, but the physical plastic clip of the button is broken off, so they’re loose and the frame is holding them in place. They’re cheap and easy to fix, and it works fine as it is now. The slider doesn’t slide super easy. It works and functions, but the movement isn’t smooth and easy. That’s about it. “Disclaimer, I don’t know much about this unit. A friend of mine had a MPS3000 and he tested this unit with his drive and it all seams to work. The display is not the best but you can read it (please see the picture) the person I got it form said it needs a disk installed to work. I dont have a disk.
