MPC 2000XL

“MPC 2000xl, with 32 mb of ram, crisp clean screen, NO LINES! Expanded 8 outs, with 8 1/4” cables. OS version is currently 1.11 but i have the update floppy for 1.72. I purchased this a few months back and was going to upgrade to a cf but I needed a floppy drive (which is why I have 2, in case one didnt work) to upgrade the OS. However, I was gifted a MPC live and well, I don’t have a use for the 2000xl anymore. So that being said, this comes with 2 standard floppy drives (one is screwed into the mpc but the cables aren’t hooked up I just didnt want the screws to go missing), a ZIP 250 drive, a SATA micro floppy drive, 34 pin ribbon connector (for floppy drives), a 40 pin ribbon connector (for zip drive) THE ONLY CABLE MISSING IS A MOLEX FEMALE TO FLOPPY MALE CABLE. Those can be found on Ebay for like $2.50. Lovely little machine, didn’t get to play around with it as much as I’d like but need the cash to buy a microphone. ALSO WOULD LIKE TO NOTE: some of the plastic buttons (tap tempo, and the play button) have broken from their plastic housing but are still fully functioning, they just wiggle around a tad.”

Has the Studio Plus Edition sticker on the case, but the 8-outs has been removed so the EB-16 may not be inside.

“I bought this second hand many years ago and never really learned how to use it to its full potential. Now I kinda fell out of making music and it’s been sitting in a box in the closet for years. I tested everything that I know how to do with no issues but I did not test every little thing this can do. Just the basics like sampling and chopping it up and assign to pads. It has a small dent near the pads it did not affect playing the pads that I could tell also the power button is missing I have always used a pen to turn it on (I bought it like that). Has an xtra Zip drive and disc drive or CD burner honestly not sure what it is I never used it a printed manual and bunch of Zip disks. “This Music Production Drum Machine is in Very Good cosmetic condition. The housing is free of damage but does have a couple light scuffs and scratches mostly located on the corners which can be common from prior use and ownership. The display screen has a couple fine scratches however, these scratches cannot be seen while in use. The pads, knobs, faders buttons and dials are all moving smoothly and properly as intended. The front panel is clean and free of damage to the pins for the memory slot. Please see images.
