“Classic Akai MPC2000 in great shape (very clean) for its age. Screen is bright and easy to read. All pads, buttons, note variation slider work great. Has 8-output + S/PDIF digital out expansion installed. Screen reads 32620K of free memory (32MB of RAM).

This is a great unit,The AKAI MPC line is a giant in live and recorded music .
The top has some tape residue where I had the pad assignment chart. I can’t test the floppy disk drive (as I have no disk to test) so I don’t know if it works. I know that it did work when I last used it.
I have the startup disk and sounds on the SCSI drive which can hold a lot of samples, there is no need to use the floppy drive unless you want to.
You can start making beats and sample with this as soon as you get it out of the box and hook it up! Everything is here and ready for you.
I replaced the LCD screen so it should last a long time. I purchased this MPC with the 8 outputs so it is great for studio use.
This unit served me well and I hope the next person gets plenty of good use out of it.

“Akai Mpc 2000. Condition is Used.MPC is in perfect working condition. Comes with OS 1.172. Has some small cosmetic marks on the left side and a few of the pads. One of the buttons right below the screen is stuck, but it is still functional! Screen was replaced a couple of years ago with a brand new one. It does not have the 8 outs or effects board.
