This is a genuine Akai MPC 2000 that I have up for sale. It is in fantastic condition, clean, and each pad is incredibly responsive. All buttons function as intended and I have haz zero issues maneuvering through its user interface.

PLEASE READ: There is only one downside to this machine and that is in relation to its screen. It’s an incredibly insignificant issue (and effect none of its functionality), but there are some slight streaks that fade out a tiny bit of the screen text. It’s just a small thing, and the interface is still completely legible. I’ve included a picture of it, and it’s shown in the video. Again, it’s does not make any impact on the functionality of this machine. It’s just a small thing that might be seen as an “ehh…”

Besides that, the machine is in great condition and sounds great.

Akai MPC 2000 Drum Machine Midi Production Center. Condition is Used. Works Great! Has pads from an se1. Yellow polka dot Glow in the dark pads. Comes with original pads and floppy drive. Vinyl wrapped with zebra print. Has 8 the output expansion and fx card installed and the latest boot firmware. Floppy drive stopped working. I put in a usb floppy emulator that uses a flash drive. Flash drive included with 99 virtual floppy disks. I can pre-load samples of your choosing onto the flash drive if needed. Virtual floppy software can be sent via email. Printed manuals included as well. The “Play” “Stop” and “Play Start” buttons have come loose from use but still work perfectly. ”

Working condition, though it could use some extra love. One potentiometer knob is missing and the other is bent, but both function perfectly. The LCD screen is 80% visible and navigation is fine, just takes a bit longer until you know where everything is located. Includes boot disk and 10+ blank floppy disks. Exact condition as when I bought it. Power cord is included. Will also throw in a Blackrocks Brewery sticker because they’re fun and make great beer”
