This unit needs some repair, but besides that it works great all original parts.

The screen has a line in the middle,it’s not too bad, but annoying,

It will need a new drum sensor. Drum pads 1,8,12,16 don’t work.

The SCSI fuse is blown I will include the replacement fuse

And the F1 Button works but to have to press it hard, pretty sure it’s on its way out

This Akai MPC 2000 with maxed RAM installed (32MB RAM) has been fully inspected and professionally serviced with brand new tact switches (no need to press hard or press several times) and brand new fader slider potentiometer, so basically you have a brand new board here, also it was cleaned inside and outside completely, also including a power cable, OS boot disk and a couple Drum Kit disks.

This is a used unit and being 20+ years old (the Akai MPC2000 was released in 1997!) you can expect some signs of wear like scratches/dents/paint chips but all that is just cosmetic and it is expected in a unit this old, but it is just cosmetic and does not affect item functioning at all.

“MPC2000 is akai’s famous machine that decorates the music scene of the 90’s.
Unlike the MPC2000XL, it produces a thicker sound personally.
I had been making beats with this equipment for about 3 years since I bought it, but I haven’t used it for about a year since I bought a different one.
After turning on the power after a long time, it was difficult to read the OS floppy. If you have been patiently turning on the power about once every 10 times, read it. It’s hard to read, so I recommend you to buy another OS floppy.
There is no burning of the screen of the MPC itself, wear of the pads, and button defects.
The MPC2000 alone was not enough, so I will attach the MO disk that was used as an external hard disk.
In addition, we also attach the cord of the earphone jack with 3.5mm terminal. You can record from here by connecting to iPhone etc. and sample in MPC.
Also, since the MPC2000 is a scsi terminal, we will also attach a code and conversion terminal.
