Used
First the bad, the led screen is blotchy and hard to read, although it’s still legible. I’ve used it many times without much issue. Minor scratches / blemishes.
Now the good, as mentioned above it’s fully tested and operational. I use the scsi with external Zip drive and will include start up disk with software. Comes with power supply.”

“Akai MPC 2000 Classic Studio Sampler & Sequencer.
New aftermarket screen. New aftermarket battery with power cable. Max ram.
Unit was cleaned up by tech during screen and battery replacement.
Unit is in very great condition for being 25 years old vintage drum machine, sampler, and midi sequencer.
All original buttons work well. Variation slider is smooth.
Missing original main volume knob. Replacement knob functions well.
Volume, and gain knobs are smooth.
The drum pads are original, and in excellent condition. The drum pads are the best ever made, extreamly responsive.
Comes with start up disk that includes OS 1.72.
Rear SCSI port is tested, and works well with a SCSI2SD hard drive.
Unit samples clear on both L and R inputs.”

“This Akai MPC2000 sampler was part of an estate I acquired. Cosmetically it has some screatches and is missing the knob on the slide lever on the front left. On the back the power button is missing but you can still turn it off and on with the white button inside the case. Inside something is rattling around. I think it could possibly be a disc. When I turn it on it comes on as shown in the photo. I have also shown a photo of the lights that are on. I know nothing more about it. I do not know if it will work or if it needs some repair. The screen looks burnt out, it still powers on but is difficult to read and should get replaced. A couple buttons are broken off and several others are loose and knobs felt stiff.
