USED. Pads have use, and the screen has some tears towards the bottom. Everything else is clean and works.

It comes with a USB reader instead of the floppy disk reader. I still have the floppy reader and will be including that if you wanna swap it back in. I also am including 2 USBs with the boot files and more banks. (With the USB, you can have hundreds of banks for anything you record v.s using floppy disks where you are HEAVILY limited on space.)

Unit has the Studio Plus sticker on the case, but the 8-outs have been removed and the space covered with electrical tape, so expect the EB-16 has already been harvested as well.

This is my personal unit I’ve been using for my own music. It is kind of a Frankenstein unit of components from various MPC2k I repaired over the years. It works perfectly and has been fully checked over so this is a great studio or touring MPC but not one for anyone looking for one in very good to excellent cosmetic condition of it.

– Floppy drive was upgraded with the very best NESSynth floppy emulator, and instruction guide for the floppy emulator is included

– 16GB Sandisk USB stick included full of hundreds of blank discs for your own work, and dozens of disks of samples for you ready to use.

– The SMPTE card will be very useful for any DAW users, or anyone looking to sync the MPC with Video or pre-recorded audio tracks

OS 1.72 auto loads at each power on as long as the provided USB stick is plugged in. (or any other USB stick if you copy the files from the one provided to another one.)”

“The machine powers on, as well as the screen.

When there is no disk inserted, the machine says “Insert Disk MPC2000 Disk!”. I only have one floppy disk to test, but the machine shows an error message when I insert the disk. It says “Disk Read Error!”.

The machine could possibly still be functioning properly, but you might just need the correct floppy disk. Or perhaps there is a hardrive issue. I’m not too sure and I do not have much experience with this machine. That’s why I am selling it for parts because I am not confident if it will work or not.

Please understand what you are buying as I will not offer returns. This machine is specifically advertised as for parts only, and am unsure of its current function state. ”

“PHYSICAL CONDITION: Good – All the pads, buttons, and knobs are in great shape. The floppy disk drive was replaced with a modded USB drive input. The bottom right plastic corner of the frame is cracked and broken, see pics, and there are a few minor scuffs and general wear throughout. Overall, everything is intact and in very good solid physical condition. WORKING CONDITION: Excellent – Works great. We just had it serviced and had the Flash drive installed to replace a defective floppy drive. Each control and parameter is working properly.
