MPC 1000

“Akai MPC1000 Sampler, Sequencer and Drum Machine.

This has been in my loft for years it’s is in poor shape, but working.

It’s a great candidate for a project.

I’ve tried all the buttons and pads, and they work eventually but some need more pressure than others. Please check out the photos.

The pads are not totally responsive every single time. Some of the buttons need to be pressed in a certain way

Well used, could do with a bit of service to get it nice and new feeling, some of the pads could be more sensitive, but all working correctly.

The unit works and has been tested. Cosmetically it’s in great shape. Clean, only minor scratches from normal use.

A few pads randomly come and go so i’m guessing the pad censors will need to be replaced. Also the 16 levels button is loose but still functions as it should. The sample/record in doesn’t sample in L/R stereo mode because something is up with the left side. I’ve just always sampled in mono to avoid fixing it. This is why i’ve listed the price low.
