Akai MPC 1000 (red/black MPC stuff colourway). Fully functional and well maintained within a smoke-free studio. 128mb RAM installed running JJOS v 3.16. MPC will be provided with kettle lead power cable and a few low memory compact flash cards. Only cosmetic faults I would draw attention to are the faded look on the memory card slot and the REC button (both pictured for your own judgement). Bank button B is a tad stiff but functions fine. Screen appears slightly titled as photographed, although no text or borders are cut off from view.”

“AKAI MPC 1000 JJOS2XL Max RAM Upgraded Pads. Condition is Used. Shipped with USPS Priority Mail.

I don’t sell much on eBay. I quit my job last year to take care of a sick relative not realizing Covid was going to wipe out the economy just as I was trying to get back to work. It’s time to sell some gear.

This comes from my home studio. I upgraded the pads and sensors. I installed all JJOS licenses except the one for the big screen. The most current version of JJOS2XL is currently installed. The RAM was already maxed out. It has a 4 GB Compact Flash card.

The only quirk with this machine is that sometimes if I don’t press the “Main” button firmly I have to press it twice. The solder joint looks solid. Maybe some contact cleaner could go in the button if it bothered you. Maybe you won’t press it so wimpy and never notice at all. It never bothered me enough to do anything about it. I just occasionally had to press it twice. That is the only quirk I have noticed on this machine and I have used every single button. This is a very clean machine, especially for its age.”
